Game Recap

The most exciting game of the 2017 lacrosse season was played yesterday at Cedar Grove HS. The Hoboken girls lacrosse team was within 2.3 goals the entire game making it the closest and tightest game the girls have played all season. Even though the game did not end in the favor of the Redwings, the girls really saw what true lacrosse looked and felt like yesterday. Goalie Ericka Malera made a season high 24 saves and Amanda Hichez scored her own season high with six goals. Solid defense was played by Andrea Marroquin, Havana Luis and Captains Karina Chazin and Tiara Rivera. Draw control was won a majority of the game by Sophomore Loany Mendoza which played a key role in the Redwings domination.
