Wilden G
Wilden Germain (Class of 2017)

How have your experiences as a Redwing shaped you as a young adult?

Being a Redwing shaped me as a young adult in many ways. Being a Redwing made me a better leader, have more character, made me a better athlete, and most importantly, made me understand the meaning of “family”. The coaching staff, the teachers, and mentors taught me a lot and watched me develop into a young man. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their encouragement, loyalty, and words of wisdom.

Tariq-Ali Felton (Class of 2017)

What lifelong lessons have you learned as a Redwing from your coaches and experiences on the field, court, track, in the pool or at the alley?

When I looked at my career as a Redwing, I realized that it has taught me a lot of lessons I could carry with me throughout my life.  At HHS, I played football and ran track, and I can honestly say that this experience helped me become the man I am now.  Football definitely played a big part because it taught me discipline, and that’s one of the characteristics you need to be successful in life.  Sports are about having fun, but it’s great when you take something meaningful from them as well.”
