Girls Lacrosse arrives in time for Spring, 2016
With the generosity of the Hoboken Lacrosse Club and several donors, the Board of Education has gladly approved the first Hoboken High School, Girls JV Lacrosse team which is set to take the field this March. Go Redwing Laxers!
The Redwing Laxers will be coached by Joanne Deni, Hoboken High School Physical Education Teacher, who played lacrosse at the College of New Jersey and on a championship team.
Derek England, Hoboken High School Athletic Director, is very excited about adding a JV Girls Lacrosse team to the Spring athletic offerings and giving an additional 20 student athletes a chance to learn to play, develop and compete in a new sport at the school. Hoboken High School Athletic Department looks forward to the possible addition of a Boy’s JV Lacrosse team, in the Spring of 2017.
