Cross Country Recap

The 2014 Cross Country season ended on a high note.  Leading the way to successful season was Bryana Rivera who won 2 medals this season and took 3.5 minutes off of previous best in the 3.1 mile course. Mariah Torres also had a good season taking 1.5 minutes off her previous best in the 3.1

Fall Athletes Shine in the Classroom!!!!

This Fall, 34 student-athletes were named to the Athletic Director’s List at Hoboken High School.  That represents 25% of the H.H.S. student-athletes participating in a Fall Sport.  That number is also a record for the most student-athletes to receive the award in a single marking period (the previous record was 22 student-athletes in the Winter

Boys Soccer Season Recap

The 2014 Hoboken Redwings Boys’ Soccer program had 24 student-athletes participate. Head Coach Kevin Metcalfe and Assistant Coach Lorna Martinez led the Redwings, trying to rebuild a strong Varsity Boys Soccer program after losing 12 Seniors to graduation from the previous year. The players gave it their best all season — conditioning during the summer

Redwings Fall in NJSIAA Semifinal

Hoboken fell short in its quest to win a third consecutive North 2, Group 1 NJSIAA Championship, losing at Dunellen on Friday night in the semifinal game.  The #4 seed Redwings held a brief 7 – 0 lead after a Josh Mercado touchdown.  However, the #1 seed Destroyers scored 26 unanswered points to close out

Redwings take down Glen Ridge, 28-3

The Redwings advanced to the NJSIAA, North 2, Group 1 State Championship with a 28 to 3 victory over visiting Glen Ridge on Friday night.  The Semifinals will be at #1 seed Dunellen next Friday at 7pm.
