Fall Athletes Shine in the Classroom!!!!

This Fall, 34 student-athletes were named to the Athletic Director’s List at Hoboken High School.  That represents 25% of the H.H.S. student-athletes participating in a Fall Sport.  That number is also a record for the most student-athletes to receive the award in a single marking period (the previous record was 22 student-athletes in the Winter

Boys Soccer Season Recap

The 2014 Hoboken Redwings Boys’ Soccer program had 24 student-athletes participate. Head Coach Kevin Metcalfe and Assistant Coach Lorna Martinez led the Redwings, trying to rebuild a strong Varsity Boys Soccer program after losing 12 Seniors to graduation from the previous year. Redwings Fall in NJSIAA Semifinal

Redwings take down Glen Ridge, 28-3

The Redwings advanced to the NJSIAA, North 2, Group 1 State Championship with a 28 to 3 victory over visiting Glen Ridge on Friday night.  The Semifinals will be at #1 seed Dunellen next Friday at 7pm.

Quest for a 3-Peat

The Hoboken Redwings begin their quest for a third consecutive NJSIAA North 2, Group 1 State Championship tonight with a 7pm game vs Glen Ridge at J.F.K. Stadium.  If successful, the Redwings will be bringing home their 10th NJSIAA State Championship! Ticket prices are $5 per adult and $3 per student (K-12) and senior citizen.

Destini Gidden Named Student of the Month

5 Lady Redwings Pepper All-Conference Soccer Team

Two Redwings Land on All-Conference Team

Aldair Nunez, (Class of 2017) a Forward, and Luke Lefeber, (Class of 2017) a Goal Keeper, were named to the Hudson County All-Conference Honorable Mention Team for Boys Soccer.  Coach Metcalfe said, “Aldair and Luke should be very proud of themselves.  To be recognized by the H.C.I.A.L. for their accomplishments as Sophomores is an outstanding achievement. 

Boys Soccer loses to Hudson Catholic — 8 to 5

In a rematch of last year’s Co-League Champions, the Redwings fell short 8 to 5 at Hudson Catholic last night.  The Redwings conclude their regular season vs. Ferris at 7pm Thursday, October 31st at JFK Stadium.
